David Garrett is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Garrett Hotel Consultants LLC. He works primarily on the conceptualization, development and financing of the company's projects. Over the years, Mr. Garrett was very active in Relais & Chateaux - considered the world's pre-eminent hotel organization - and serving as the President of Relais & Chateaux North America for many years, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Relais & Chateaux International. Mr. Garrett's considerable background in the investment banking and venture capital businesses coupled with his extensive hospitality contacts throughout the world give him a unique ability to mesh concepts with capital.

Christie Garrett is President and co-founder of Garrett Hotel Consultants. She oversees interior, exterior and landscape design for the hotels and other projects, as well as any and all details that affect guest experience. Mrs. Garrett worked in landscape design in Boston and later joined the Office of Dan Kiley - the international design firm of America's leading landscape architect, where she worked closely with Mr. Kiley. Mrs. Garrett oversees all aspects of renovation and construction for the company. Her extraordinary touch is evident throughout the hotels the company has worked with and is an extremely important factor behind the continued recognition, superb guest experience and industry accolades of the hotels created by GHC. Mrs. Garrett consults privately on interior design and operations to help properties achieve better occupancy and financial returns.

Mike Watkins

Mike Watkins, AIA, is an expert in architecture and town planning. Formerly a director of town planning for Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company, he has designed more than 60 towns and neighborhoods in the United States. Mike is a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of the Congress for the New Urbanism, the American Institute of Architects, and the American Institute of Certified Planners.

Tom Cullins

Advisory Consultant - Architect

Tom Cullins, AIA, has practiced architecture for over 42 years. His commissions have included high-end resort and residential projects as well as complex institutional, corporate, commercial and urban master plan projects. His architectural designs have won numerous national and international competitions. Tom has great experience in designing small (and large) boutique hotels and has worked extensively with GHC on many of their projects.
